Rehabilitation footwear
Rehabilitation shoes are made on extra-depth lasts. They provide extra support through medial and lateral extended heel stiffeners and a removable, anatomically shaped full-length footbed. Their construction makes adaptations straightforward.
They can help children who need extra support, people with neuro-physiological problems, varus or valgus instability, painful or pressure-sensitive feet, and users who need footwear to accommodate orthotics.
Reverse-lasted footwear
Reverse-lasted correction footwear is designed for feet with extreme varus and/or adduction. The special last shape, inlay and extended medial stiffener form a curved wall that discourages further adduction while stimulating abduction. It is especially relevant for children born with clubfeet.
